#15 Investors Excited as Kazakhstan Lockdown Continues - Brandon Munro

#15 Investors Excited as Kazakhstan Lockdown Continues - Brandon Munro

July 13, 2020

Uranium Market Commentator & Bannerman Resources (ASX: BMN) CEO, Brandon Munro, calls in for our weekly catch up about the world of Uranium and Uranium investing.

The extended lockdown in Kazakhstan impacts KazAtomProm's, the world's largest supplier of uranium U308 (24%), ability to get their employees back to work. This in turn means that so far as much as 8Mlbs of uranium has not been produced. However, despite this news, the company has maintained guidance with regard to being able to supply their term-contract customers. They are 6 to 7-months of inventory with which to draw on, but indicate that they will probably need to go in to the spot market to acquire uranium pounds to fulfil order (at still low prices) and maintain their stockpile position. What are the impacts for utilities and uranium investors. We discuss.

As COVID-19 continues to restrict production in Canada and impacts production in Australia and Namibia, we discuss the implications for junior uranium companies. Investors and potential investors take note.

And for Crux-Club.com members only, Brandon and I discuss why utilities remain inactive. What are they focussed on instead? And what has happened to the price momentum? We look at some of the factors. Please join the waiting list for Crux Club if you want to get more insight in to the uranium sector and other commodities from our expert contributors each week. All for less than a dollar a day.

GoGold Resources (GGD) - Are We Looking at SilverCrest II?

GoGold Resources (GGD) - Are We Looking at SilverCrest II?

July 11, 2020

Interview with Bradley Langille, President & CEO of GoGold Resources (TSX:GGD)

Is the Mexican gold exploration project, Los Ricos, really the best project this CEO has seen in his entire career? He says yes.

The numbers look great, the drill programme looks structured and highly-technical, the team has an excellent track record, there is cash flow being generated by their tailings operation, and the company has sufficient cash to hit its deliverables and deliver a Maiden Resource, followed quickly by a PEA, in the near future.

This is an extremely promising gold development story with a potential catalysts to look out for the remainder of 2020. GoGold Resources is accelerating towards a really promising value proposition.

July 10, 2020

Uranium Market Commentator & Bannerman Resources (ASX:BMN) CEO, Brandon Munro, calls in for our weekly catch up about the world of Uranium and Uranium investing.

A "fantastic week" for uranium? We run through Kazatomprom's possible shutdown extension and the huge impact this could have on the available pounds in the market.

Then, we look at the political side of things. With the Democrats no longer discriminating nuclear power from other forms of green energy, the November election no longer carries any uncertainty for uranium investors.

Discovery Metals (DSV) - Fully-Funded Mexican Silver Player with a Clever Plan

July 9, 2020

Interview with Taj Singh, President & CEO of Discovery Metals (TSX-V: DSV)

Discovery Metals: a Mexican silver developer that is part of the renowned Oxygen Capital Corporation. Sprott is the largest shareholder with c. 24% of the company.

The company has reinterpreted an asset that had been designated an uneconomic bulk-tonnage operation by the previous owner because of the depressed silver price. However, by focussing on a high-grade silver drill core and a phased drill programme that includes a silver resource by this time next year, the share price has been on the rise to a record high. The project, Cordero, is one of the largest development-stage silver projects in the world.

The silver player is fully-financed through to production with $40M in the bank. Let's see if Singh can hit his deliverables. We're impressed so far.

#5 Nickel Forecasts, Importance of Indonesia & Red Flags - Mark Selby

#5 Nickel Forecasts, Importance of Indonesia & Red Flags - Mark Selby

July 9, 2020

Nickel Market Insight with Mark Selby, Nickel Market Commentator and CEO of Canada Nickel Company (TSX-V: CNC). Stay up to date by listening to our weekly market round up on Nickel.

So, what should investors make of what been going on in the world of nickel this week? It's been something of a sideways week, with nickel price ticking up by c. 1%.

Big news during week was one of more followed nickel analysts lowered prices by 6-7% from 2021-2025 - LT price intact Why? 2 big drivers - current demand pullback combined with more NPI production from Indonesia

Nickel & Indonesia

- Why is Indonesia now such a big part of the market?

- why didn't it happen before? Nickel just didn't magically appear or get discovered - deposits there all known since the 1970s

- What are the implications for the overall market?

- where does it go from here What are laterites? What is HPAL and how is it different than NPI ?

The long-term projections for nickel demand are extremely exciting. A solid growth driver of demand is stainless steel. From 2006-2018, quantities of nickel use were 683,000t in stainless steel, 103,000t in batteries and 105,000t for other uses. The EV revolution looks set to transform these numbers, with 2018-2030 demand looking like 729,000t in stainless steel, a 46,000t increase; 825,000 in batteries, a massive 722,000t increase; and 119,000t for other uses, a 14,000t increase. Batteries are now a game-changing second driver for the nickel space, and nickel's status as the largest metal by mass in the cathodes of EV batteries is sure to be instrumental.

We also run through the importance of Indonesia, particularly the nickel-ore export ban. Then, it's on to general red flags that investors need to watch out for when investing in nickel. It's important viewing for EV/nickel investors/spectators.

Cora Gold (CORA) - Racing to DFS with Term Sheet

Cora Gold (CORA) - Racing to DFS with Term Sheet

July 8, 2020

Interview with Bert Monro, CEO of Cora Gold (AIM: CORA)

Yet another West African junior gold mining story, but this time with a twist. Cora Gold plans to get into production early at its Mali gold oxide project, aiming to complete a DFS by the end of 2021 with the project financing already in place (subject to delivering a DFS at a suitable level).

The team has regional experience. The shareholder registry is extremely tight. We're hoping that Cora Gold can leverage its US$4M cash to create some catalyst moments for the market in the near future, because the share price has been quite stagnant. It should be an exciting ride ahead between now and December 2021 for shareholders as the company has only just delivered a PEA. The numbers look ok and the business model is not a new one. It will come down to execution.

What did you make of Cora Gold? Is this a gold junior you will investigate further? Comment below and we will respond.

Henrik Zeberg - Gold gets to $10,000, but only after it hits $800!

Henrik Zeberg - Gold gets to $10,000, but only after it hits $800!

July 7, 2020

Interview with Henrik Zeberg, Founder of The Zeberg Report

Zeberg has taken lots of flak from bullish gold investors recently for his suggestion that in this deflationary market, gold is on the verge of a price reset. We dig into Zeberg's understanding of the gold space, and the strong evidence behind his suspicions.

However, many investors aren't realising that Zeberg actually AGREES with the most optimistic of gold bulls in the long-term. He sees US$5,000-10,000/oz gold as eminently feasible; he just thinks there needs to be a reset down to c. US$890 first.

Feel free to check out Zeberg's website, www.thezebergreport.com, for more information on macroeconomics, be that the gold market, or another commodity.

What did you make of Henrik Zeberg's outlook for the gold market? Will the gold price go to US$10,000/oz? Will it fall to c. US$800/oz?
